Your Forum -- How to Use It
For some time now, the only articles in the Out of Character section have been ones written by the GM. I want to make certain everyone understands what's appropriate for this section, so you can take full advantage of it if you like.
Basically, the Out of Character section is for any article, written by anyone, that is not in character. For example, Lise Mendel wrote an article in the second issue of the gazette, How to Use the Exchange. She described what a player could expect to get from the Exchange, and how to go about using the organization. While Lise is no longer playing, this is an excellent example of an out of character article.
Other possibilities are essays about ongoing plotlines, role playing in general, top ten lists for Crossover Earth characters, etc. Anything and everything out of character, as long as it's related to Crossover Earth or roleplaying in general is possible. The only restriction on out of character articles is that you respect other players. I'll reject articles that do nothing but flame other players.
So, if this is news to you, then feel free to submit out of character articles.
